Travel by Tuba at the Amphitheatre! 

Travelling by Tuba is one of the UK's busiest and most successful classical music duos. They've played the Barbican, they've been on BBC radio and Channel 4, and now...they're coming to Folkestone!

They will be bringing their unique, fun show to Folkestone's amphitheatre on Sunday 5th July. Watch out for a can-can dancing tubist and an exploding tuba: how can you resist! The show starts at 2.00 pm and the event is entirely free, courtesy of Shepway District Council. Find the amphitheatre in Folkestone's award-winning Coastal Park.

Back in your area again for the third year running Street Athletics is back in Shepway. Being staged on Sunday 5 July 2009 in the Lidl's car park, Haven Drive, Hawkinge. Registration between 1-2pm races from 2-4pm.

Free entry, free T shirt, free street athletics dog tag and a fun packed day with face painting, circus acts, DJ workshops and lots more including special guests Darren Campbell and Linford Christie
